Trials Frontier

Trials Frontier is a physics-based motorcycle racing game that blends precision controls with adventure-driven gameplay. You race through challenging tracks, compete on global leaderboards, and master bike physics in a world filled with quirky characters and fast-paced challenges. As one of the most successful mobile entries in the Trials franchise, it delivers competitive, skill-based racing perfected for touch-screen devices. Operating as a live-service game for nearly a decade, it maintained a passionate community and strong player engagement throughout its lifespan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drove Live Ops design across events, meta systems, and in-game economy to sustain engagement and player retention.

  • Designed and tuned bike performance, event structures, seasons and feature systems with a strong focus on KPIs and player feedback.

  • Collaborated closely with Ubisoft RedLynx (Finland) to align creative vision, feature priorities, and design execution.

  • Created and maintained clear design documentation and communication pipelines between studios.

  • Worked with Production and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of updates, seasonal events, and new content.

  • Designed and refined events and FTUE improvements to support accessibility and new-player onboarding.

Major Contributions:
  • Designed and shipped multiple new features expanding replayability and progression depth.

  • Led balancing efforts across bike physics, rewards, and in-game economies, improving player progression pacing and fairness.

  • Conceptualized and launched seasonal events that refreshed the gameplay experience and kept the community highly active.

  • Analyzed engagement metrics and community feedback to drive iterative improvements and player focused design updates.

  • Served as the primary design point of contact in the Pune studio and acted as the communication bridge with Ubisoft RedLynx, ensuring creative alignment and consistent design quality across teams.
