Skull & Bones is a tactical naval action game set during the Golden Age of Piracy. You command your own warships in large-scale naval battles, trade routes, and explorations across a shared open world. With deep ship customization, strategic combat, and seasonal live-service content, the game delivers a rich and evolving pirate experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Served as the primary point of contact for Technical Design on World Events, ensuring seamless integration across AI, systems and live content.

  • Collaborated with Ubisoft Singapore to co-develop large-scale multiplayer and world event systems for Season 1.

  • Partnered with engineering, AI, and gameplay teams to prototype, validate and optimize event logic and system behaviors.

  • Defined design specifications and workflows to maintain performance, consistency and technical scalability.

  • Supported balancing, debugging, and live deployment processes to ensure quality and reliability at launch.

Major Contributions:
  • Led the technical design of dynamic World Events for the game's first season, enhancing player engagement and replayability.

  • Developed AI and gameplay system interactions that supported large-scale naval encounters.

  • Improved collaboration between design and engineering through clearer documentation and communication channels.

  • Contributed to refining event pacing, rewards, and player experience based on live test data and internal play sessions.
